Journal of Data Acquisition and Processing is responsible for China Association for Science and Technology and is issued at home and abroad, which is sponsored by Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and Chinese Institute of Electronics. The first issue of  Journal of Data Acquisition and Processing  was published in 1986, printed by NUAA. The journal mainly report the scientific basic research and their applications in the fields of signal processing, testing technology, computer application, which consist of image signal processing , speech signal processing, radar signal processing, communication signal processing，machine learning and pattern recognition，biomedical signal processing, and so on.

Journal of Data Acquisition and Processing is published bimonthly with international standard serial number: ISSN 1004-9037,uniform issue: CN 32-1367/TN, CODEN: SCYCE4, and foreign postal code: 6311Q.

Journal of Data Acquisition and Processing  is archival journal published in Chinese language with abstracts in English for reference on various major international catalogue systems such as Scopus (Netherlands), Cambridge Scientific Abstracts (CSA), INSPECT Database(UK), PЖ (Russia); it is also the core database of Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD, China), Chinese Scientific and Technical Papers and Citations Database (CSTPCD, China), and so on.

According to the Chinese S&T Journal Citation Reports 2013, issued by the Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China (ISTIC),  Journal of Data Acquisition and Processing  is ranked the 2nd in all 17 journals classified as radio communication  in terms of impact factor.

Journal of Data Acquisition and Processing  enjoys a wide range of readership. Its articles are frequently selected by researchers, university professors and graduates as the primary sources of their research work.
